How to use an ultrasonic cleaner for jewelry

Easily cleans jewelry at home

Fill stainless steel tank with water up to but not past the MAX fill line.

Place jewelry in plastic basket inside ultrasonic basin. This basket is designed to keep your jewelry safe while cleaning.

Plug in power cord and place lid on machine. Press button to turn on and let run for three minutes. Machine will automatically shut off.

Blot dry with a microfiber cloth or use a polishing cloth from your professional jeweler for a finish luster on metals.

For jewelry pieces that need an extra thorough cleaning, add 1/2-ounce of a jewelry cleaning formula.

The CLEAN+CARE^® Professoinal Ultrasonic Cleaner can clean a variety of jewelry, metals and other items. Use the common metals and gemstones chart below to determine the best way to clean.

(1) Do not attempt to clean clarity-enhanced diamonds in an ultrasonic cleaner, as they can be damaged by ultrasonic waves.

(2) Many emeralds and rubies are filled for clarity enhancements and can be damaged by ultrasonic waves. Use with caution or consult your jeweler before cleaning these gemstones with an ultrasonic cleaner.

(3) Ultrasonic machines can only clean silver jewelry, not remove tarnish, Use only with water and a non-ammoniated cleaner.

(4) Damaged jewelry should not be cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner. Consult your professional jeweler if you have any questions on what can or cannot be cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner.
